I started my own label

in the early 90´s as a consequence of the independent/alternative years the decade before. My intention was to get the musicians out of a sterile studio situation and record them wherever they were or wanted to be. Just like the old "Field Recordings" in the beginning of the Blues. To let them sound as spontaneous and rough as they were i only used analog equipment like tube equalizers, compressors and preamps, old dynamic microphones and a low budget 8-Track tape recorder.

The essence of our work during this period are two compilations:
